Animal Crossing: New Horizons Dataminer Finds Evidence Of Brewster In Latest Update

If you're an Animal Crossing: New Horizons fan, you've likely seen that Update 1.11.0 has just gone live, bringing back the Summer fireworks shows every week. While Nintendo separately confirmed there'll be a substantial update later this year, we may have gotten a clue to what that'll contain.

Currently referred to as the rumoured Update 2.0, dataminers at Animal Crossing World may have found new code that relates to fan-favourite coffee pigeon barista, Brewster. Within this code, a line was found relating to camera parameters which reads ‘idrMuseumCafe’.

While that line was previously spotted in Update 1.10.0 - alongside another code line called ‘cNpcMemory:TalkProgressMuseumBuiltCafe’ - a further line has been discovered called ‘IdrMuseumEnt03’. That would signal Brewster's cafe, The Roost, could now form part of the museum.

However, it's worth remembering that code doesn't necessarily mean he'll arrive, and Nintendo could always decide against it later on. As such, we'd advise taking this news with a pinch of salt, at least until Nintendo make any further announcements.
