Among Us PS5 And PS4 Release Date Potentially Set For August

Among Us' PS5 and PS4 release date may have just been leaked, with the game reportedly listing an August 31, 2021, release date on the PSN's backend.

The news comes from PSN database leaker @PlayStationSize on Twitter, who says that currently the date is set for the end of August.

However, they do warn that this might be a placeholder, which would make sense as placeholders are usually put in for the final day of a month. However, August 31 this year falls on a Tuesday, which is a typical day of the week for games to release.

Therefore, it could be either the release date or a placeholder, we just won't know until InnerSloth announces it.

However, Sony is rumoured to be holding an event in the next few weeks which will showcase their lineup for the rest of this year and 2022, so we could see this release date (or just a release date for the game) announced there.

Alongside the PlayStation release, Among Us is also set to arrive on Xbox consoles this year, so we could see it come to both consoles on the same day.
