Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD Players Discover Soft-Locking Glitch

Last month saw Nintendo re-releasing The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD on Switch. One of Nintendo's 35th anniversary plans for their iconic series, it's become one of Amazon's best-selling releases for 2021, though not everyone is currently happy with it.

As spotted by a few players, Skyward Sword HD has been suffering with a soft-lock glitch, which first came to light nearly two weeks ago. Specifically, that occurs within Lanayru Mining Facility, which includes a moveable crate needed to reach another part of this dungeon.

As highlighted by Reddit user Sawyerqs below, this glitch causes that crate to become stuck, stopping an affected player from progressing further. However, there's not a clear reason to how this glitch occurs, since many players have successfully completed this puzzle without error.

At this time, Nintendo's not commented formally on this, so it's unclear whether they'll release a patch in the immediate future. However, several Reddit users advise that closing the game down, making your way back to this room and trying again is your best call. Soon as we hear more, we'll be sure to keep you updated.
