Xbox Working On A New IP "That Will Blow Your Mind"

Xbox Game Studios is working on an unannounced project that will "blow your mind", according to a Microsoft exec.

Ben Decker, head of gaming services marketing at the company, was discussing Xbox Game Pass' 18 million subscribers and the information the company has gleaned from them in an interview with GamesRadar.

According to the data, 55 per cent of subscribers joined Game Pass for titles that launch into the service on day one.

"That’s why we made the investments that we have,” Decker explained.

“We have 23 studios across Xbox and Bethesda, working on Halo, Forza, Fallout, and new IP that we haven’t even talked about yet that’s gonna blow your mind."

"We can deliver all of that into Game Pass on day one.”

Microsoft sealed the deal to acquire ZeniMax, Bethesda's parent company, earlier this year.

At the time, Xbox boss Phil Spencer said that “we have games that exist on other platforms, and we’re going to go support those games on the platforms they’re on."

He also said that new Bethesda exclusives will be exclusive to "platforms where Game Pass exists."
