Xbox Series X and Series S: How to Connect and Use a Mouse and Keyboard


Getting next-gen consoles is absolutely fantastic, especially at Christmas time, but navigating the system can be a little tricky at first. This guide will help you know how to perform certain actions on your new Xbox Series X or Series S console.

How To Connect a Mouse and Keyboard

Xbox Series X/S

First of all you’ll need to use a compatible mouse and keyboard.

They’ll have to be USB ones, no Bluetooth options yet, unfortunately.

This will also mean you want some with long enough wires for your needs!

Once this is sorted, the next steps are easy.

Simply plug the USB of your mouse and your keyboard into your Xbox Series X or Series S’s USB ports!

Once that’s been done, turn your console on and the system will automatically detect your new preferred ways of playing!

And you should be sorted, now you can play your favourite games with a mouse and keyboard.
