During this blog post, the following details were shared in regards to the FPS boosts we have seen today.

We partnered closely with developers to enhance the experience while maintaining the game’s original intent.

While not applicable to all games, these new techniques can push game engines to render more quickly for a buttery smooth experience beyond what the original game might have delivered due to the capabilities of the hardware at the time.

Now, they have made a new blog post that is centered around the FPS boosts to these titles.

Here is a quick rundown of what they had to say:

Gamers can expect to see an increase from 30fps to nearly 60fps with FPS Boost for the above titles.

To experience FPS Boost, make sure your console has the latest update installed and the FPS Boost function is turned on in ‘Compatibility Options’ under the ‘Manage Game’ section.

In those select cases, such as Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 in this latest title announcement, FPS Boost is not automatically enabled for Xbox Series X gamers.

Be sure to let us know if you are going to go back and replay these games with the new 60 FPS update!
