How Do I Get EA Play With Game Pass?

EA Play is one of the odder game services out there, mostly due to how people feel about the company and some of the practices that they implement.

The service itself gives players access to a number of games from EA’s archives, along with trials for newer games, exclusive discounts, and other perks.

How Do I Get EA Play With Game Pass?

Thankfully, if you’re an Xbox player, you can gain immediate access to EA Play with Xbox Game Pass, albeit with some conditions.

If you’ve purchased Xbox Game Pass on PC, players will eventually gain access to EA Play once they've downloaded the EA Desktop app and linked their accounts.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate fans can also gain immediate EA Play access on either Xbox Series S/X, Xbox One, or PC, making it the best bang for your buck overall.

Sadly, if you have the basic Game Pass purchase for Xbox consoles, you will not have EA Play unless you’re already subscribed to the service or switch to Game Pass Ultimate.

EA Play games seem to be permanent while games in Game Pass are only there for a limited time, so if you want the best of both worlds, you might as well get Game Pass Ultimate.

Xbox Game Pass is available now on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, Xbox One X, PC, and Android. EA Play is available on all of those systems, along with the PS4 and PS5.
