Xbox Cloud Gaming for Consoles Now Available for Insiders

Microsoft's announced that Xbox Cloud Gaming is now available for Xbox Insiders – comprised of random Alpha and Alpha Skip Ahead members who've signed up to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

As tweeted by Xbox lead engineer Eden Marie, the Cloud Gaming rollout began earlier today, and those random testers can start to try the service to ‘check out the known issues and file bugs.’

Understandably, some issues were already noticed, including the unsupported in-game purchases which are part of some available bundles. Another thing happening within the testing is that games installed on an external drive (assuming it's not connected to the console) won't launch with Cloud Gaming.

As mentioned by Marie, there will be ‘rough edges’ in the pre-launch of the Xbox Cloud Gaming for the console, hence this early stage of testing. Hopefully, those will be fixed right before it gets officially released.
