WoW Classic TBC: How Much Does Flying Cost In Outland

With the introduction of flying mounts in The Burning Crusade, players will want to purchase these fast mounts to travel around Outland as fast as they can.

Just like in the original vanilla World of Warcraft, there are two levels of mount skill, the first an accessible, but slower speed and a faster more expensive speed.

If you did not play Classic or did not prepare gold prior to the expansion release, you are likely to be a bit short on gold, as the prices are a bit more expensive than what ground mounts are.

Rare Flying - 60% Speed

Skill - 800 Gold.

Epic Flying - 280% Speed

Skill - 5000 Gold.

You must train Rare flying before you are able to learn Epic flying, therefore increasing the price required.

Additionally, you will need to purchase a new mount in order to fly, however, these are much cheaper with rare mounts costing 100 gold, and epic mounts 200 gold.

This makes the minimum cost required for fast flying, 6000 Gold.

Vendors and Trainers can be found in each Factions main town in Shadowmoon Valley.

Druids can expect their epic flying quest chain in phase 2 or 3, but, they will still be required to learn the epic flying skill.
