World Of Warcraft Shadowlands: Death-Bound Shard And Soultwining Crescent Now Reward Spec Specific Conduits

After months of waiting, players will now be able to target spec-specific conduits from items such as the Death-Bound Shard and Soultwining Crescent.

This has been an issue since the first iteration of purchasable RNG conduit upgrades from Ve'nari in 9.0 and has only become a larger issue since more items were added in Chains of Domination.

Going live with the weekly reset, players who receive these items will now be able to target conduits from the specialization they are currently in.

Players will need to physically be in the spec they want the conduit in, as the loot specialization system isn't enough to prioritize this update.

World Of Warcraft Shadowlands: Death-Bound Shard And Soultwining Crescent Now Reward Spec Specific Conduits

"We’re working on a change that will go live with next week’s restarts that will allow Soultwining Crescent and Death-Bound Shard to grant conduits based on your current specialization instead of by class. In order to receive the conduits of the spec of your preference, you will need to switch your specialization fully, changing Loot Specialization won’t work." Community manager Linxy says.

On top of this change, Blizzard will be increasing the drop rate of Death-Bound Shards from the Adamant Vaults in Torghast, allowing players to receive their item level 252 conduits at a faster rate.

A welcome change despite being a few months late, however, players are excited to know that they will now be able to target their conduits if they haven't already collected them all.
