Warframe's next big expansion, Heart of Deimos, will be unveiled later this week at Tennocon 2020 (which we'll be covering), but the game is also getting a new "Steel Path" mode which players can jump into now.

Offering increased challenge but with the potential for much higher rewards, here's everything you need to know.

Heart of Deimos Expansion Coming to Warframe

As per Warframe's official post, The Steel Path is available on PS4, Xbox, PC and Nintendo Switch.

"The Steel Path flips the Origin System on its head, increasing the difficulty of every node on the Star Chart. Put your skills to the test against enemies that are 100 levels tougher. Persevere, and your strength will be rewarded."

"You’ll earn more Resources, Mastery, and have a higher chance of finding Resources and Mods than in any other Mission! As you progress and reclaim nodes throughout the Origin System, Teshin will bestow you with exclusive Emotes and Trophies that prove your fortitude. You’ll also earn Steel Essence from Eximus enemies you face along The Steel Path to trade with Teshin for Kuva, Relics, or Blueprints for the Bishamo Armor."

Don't expect to jump straight in, though - you'll need to complete the Star Chart first, and then visit Teshin.

That's not all, either. Tenno can earn the new Bishamo Armor, as well as the Khora Urushu collection that's found in the in-game store. Check it out below.
