Squad Boost Comes To Valorant Episode 3 Act 1

Squad Boost is an interesting little feature that will be available in Valorant for a short period of time. Starting on June 22nd, you'll be rewarded with bonus XP for playing with your friends.

This is probably the first time something like this is being done with Valorant. As a part of their 1 year celebration, Riot Games is pulling out all the stops with Valorant and going all in.

Apart from the new agent, there is a free event pass that everyone will be receiving in the game, as a part of these celebrations.

How will the Squad Boost work in Valorant?

As mentioned before, this feature will work only for a short period of time. The amount of bonus XP you receive will depend upon the number of friends that are a part of your party during a match. Here are the different tiers:

• Party of 1: 0% Bonus XP
• Party of 2: 8% Bonus XP
• Party of 3: 12% Bonus XP
• Party of 4: 16% Bonus XP
• Party of 5: 20% Bonus XP

That being said, this bonus will be active till July 6th. That's when the celebrations expire, so make sure you make the most of this event.

This bonus XP that you receive from the Squad Boost will help you progress through the battle pass. The Valorant Episode 3 Act 1 battle pass has really cool cosmetics for you to get your hands on.

Like every other battle pass, the one for Valorant Episode 3 Act 1 will be priced at 1,000 VP. So make sure you team up with your friends, and grind through the battle pass levels as much as you can.

This battle pass will be active from June 22nd, all the way till August 24th. While that does give you a lot of time to collect all the cosmetics from it, it wouldn't really hurt to have a head start.
