Netflix's The Witcher: Blood Origin Casts Sophia Brown as Éile

Previously, we'd received news back in January about this original character, when Jodie Turner-Smith was initially cast in the role. However, she exited production back in April due to a scheduling conflict.

Blood Origin comes as part of an expanded effort by Netflix, following The Witcher season 1's success. Alongside Season 2, fans can also expect an animated spinoff movie, The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf, which tells the origin story of Geralt's mentor Vesemir.
