Opinion: Should You Go For It?

There's a lot to love from what we've seen of the specs and design with the new HyperX Cloud Flight.

Some of the real standouts here have to be the solid 30 hours of battery life alongside the minimal design that wouldn't look out of place from Sony PlayStation themselves.

Of course with the inclusion of the under-stated LEDs, which feature solid or 'breathing' displays, you're looking at more around 13h - 18h of battery, but that's still a ton of time.

This headset also comes in light at only 315g all in (300g without the mic) and when combined with memory foam earcups, you're getting something that'll be comfortable even during those longer gaming stints.

It does come in at a fairly substantial $119.99 / £99.99, so it is a 'premium headset', but in our experience, this is actually on the lower end of the price range for something wireless that also works with PS5.

Compare this to the Astro A50 and we think it's a great shout if you don't fancy splurging 'too' much.

With Call of Duty Vanguard out now and Battlefield 2042 looking better than ever, it could be the best time to grab one...if you can resist the Black Friday deals that is!
