GTA San Andreas Is Heading To Oculus Quest 2

If you've been tuning into Facebook Connect, you've no doubt seen some of the lofty ambitions in relation to work, education, entertainment, and of course, gaming.

The big focus of this year's event is the metaverse, a virtual space where accessible by a number of different devices, but from what we've seen, largely VR and AR.

We've seen some of the possibilities showcased, and we're certainly impressed at the level of interaction that could, one day, be possible.

But the announcement that stood out to us, was the fact that Mark Zuckerberg has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas will be coming to the Oculus Quest 2.

This is also confirmed by a blog post on Oculus's website.

As for more details, they are understandably thin on the ground. We don't have a release date or a price as of yet.

The metaverse may be very much in development, but it does seem like we've got a long way to go until it is fully realised as some of the demonstrations showed, but from what we've seen, we're very excited. indeed.

We'll keep you posted the second we hear more!
