Landfall Publishing launched its latest and most socially relevant game, Content Warning, on Steam. To mark this occasion, they're giving players an exclusive opportunity to download the game for free, but only for the first 24 hours. Don't miss out on this limited-time offer!
Today’s world is driven mainly by social media and viral content, and this is the world that Landfall Publishing’s latest horror co-op game on Steam, Content Warning, is trying to emulate.
As the protagonist, you’ll take your team to areas with reports of creepy sightings so you can create viral content that will elevate your social media reputation.
The publisher wants as many people as possible to experience the world of Content Warning. Thus, it has announced that it will offer the game for free for the first 24 hours before it reverts to its original $7.99 price.
As a co-op game, you can assemble a team of 2-4 players to explore an underground dungeon and capture footage to turn into viral content on the in-world social media website. You and your team will spend three in-game days in the underworld, which can be accessed using the diving bell, and collect as much footage as possible.
Once back on the ground, the content you’ve captured will generate ad revenue, which you can spend to upgrade your content creation gear or give your character an ASCII facelift.
