The Sims 4 High School Release Date
We don't have an official release date yet but we have a good guess based on when the DLC usually comes out and when this leak has popped up.
It seems likely that the High School DLC will follow the release structure of last year's Cottage Living. It started to pop up around June and was released at the end of July 2021. It seems likely High School will launch around the same time this year, making a release next month a possibility. A slim one, but a possibility nontheless.
How Did The Sims High School DLC Leak?
As always, you should take leaks with a degree of salt, but this leak has been hinted at for some time.
In a recent survey by The Sims team, players were asked which of the recent DLCs they've played, and what they thought of it. At the very top of the list was an option for "High School" - which keen-eyed Sims players knew immediately wasn't an available expansion you could find on store shelves.
The inclusion suggests the next pack will be set in High School. All the packs here have their official name, so while it's possible that High School could merely be a codename, it could still be the final name of the next expansion. After all, Seasons was a pretty straight-forward name for an expansion with a simple premise.
Then again, it's entirely possible that The Sims 4 High School could have been the name of a since abandoned expansion that maybe just wasn't removed from EA's internal databases. It's not an unusual thing to happen - content landing on the cutting room floor if an idea doesn't pan out - but it's hard to say for certain.
Still, when we think of the Werewolves expansion coming right before a High School pack, we can't help but imagine EA is going full Teen Wolf on us.
