Due to a very long period of unscheduled maintenance to the game last week, Rocket League players on XBOX1, PS4, Switch, and PC all fell victim to service disruptions when trying to enter online matches. Fortunately, Psyonix has something planned for all players affected.

Lucky Lanterns
Psyonix has announced that due to the recent service disruptions, they will be extending the Lucky Lanterns event to make up for the lost time.
Lucky Lanterns will now end on February 17, 2020 at 10am PST (6pm for the UK) giving players an extra week to rack up the wins.
Rewards
In addition to the extended event time, Psyonix is also offering 500 Red Envelopes to all players that sign in to Rocket league from now through February 21 at 10:00am PST (again, it's 6pm for the UK).
This means, even if you weren't affected by the frustrating service disruptions, you can STILL log in to Rocket League and claim your 500 Red Envelopes free of charge.
