How Does Resident Evil 3: Remake Continue The Story of Resident Evil 2?
Resident Evil 2 showed Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield's attempts to escape from the overrun Raccoon City, but with Resident Evil 3 also taking place there, you may be wondering when exactly the events of this latest title occur.
Resident Evil 3 actually occurs concurrently with Resident Evil 2, in late September of 1998. Jill Valentine is attempting to escape the city around the same time as Leon and Claire, and some locations will appear across both games.
While the original Resident Evil 3 title occurs 24 hours prior to the events of Resident Evil 2, we don't know if the same can be said about the remake but we'll be able to find out when the game launches next.
