Original Story - Sony PlayStation didn't exactly give fans much notice when it came to pre-ordering the PS5 last week.
No sooner had the PlayStation 5 livestream finished had GAME and several more sites opened up pre-orders.
It was quite literally a 'blink and you've missed it' moment. No doubt those who realised the next morning were kicking themselves.
Not that Microsoft's pre-planned approach of opening the worldwide floodgates for Xbox Series X worked much better.
Regardless, if you didn't have the luck to pick up a PS5 standard edition or PS5 digital edition last week, you've got another chance.
A flurry of retailers have today confirmed that more stock is imminent and set to be put up for pre-order this Friday.

MORE GAME PS5 PRE-ORDERS
The news broke this afternoon with GAME announcing the news via emails sent to customers.
"LIMITED STOCK COMING TOMORROW LATE MORNING," explained the GAME email. "KEEP AN EYE ON OUR WEBSITE."
"The PlayStation 5 is £449.99 and the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition is £359.99.
"In preparation for tomorrow, please make sure you know your password and correct email address for your GAME Reward account."
MORE ARGOS PS5 PRE-ORDERS
Meanwhile, high-street retailer Argos has also confirmed an abundance of new stock for the console, writing on Twitter:
"We are excited to announce that more PS5 consoles will be available to pre-order tomorrow morning, Friday 25th September. Follow this link tomorrow to pre-order yours!"
Without knowing for sure, you'd be forgiven for thinking the Argos pre-orders will begin at around 9am BST in the morning.
But it's worth noting that some users were reporting PS5 stock live as early as 5am on the Argos website last Friday.
MORE SMYTHS PS5 PRE-ORDERS
Since three times is supposedly a charm, should GAME and Argos fail you, children's toy retailer Smyths will also be on hand to come to your rescue.
PlayStation fans are also reporting emails from the company promoting more stock on Friday.
"Further quantities of PS5 will be made available to pre-order at Smythstoys.com from lunchtime tomorrow.
"This round of pre-orders will be limited to online-only (home delivery and click & Collect). The ability to pre-order in-store will NOT be available in this round.
