UPDATE: The games have been announced.

While Oddworld: Soulstorm is coming to PS5 players, we now finally know that Days Gone and Zombie Army 4 are joining the lineup for April - so the leaks were right.

Oddworld: Soulstorm | PS5

Oddworld’s Abe returns in this action-adventure platformer set directly after the events of 2014’s Oddworld: New ‘N’ Tasty. Having undergone a transformation from clueless cog in a mega-corporate machine to unlikely hero and beacon of hope, Abe must now save his fellow Mudokons by any means necessary.

As you recruit more followers, stick to stealth and puzzle solve to survive or scavenge goods and craft an arsenal to liberate your friends. In Oddworld: Soulstorm, you will begin to understand the power of many will be needed to solve problems that the individual alone cannot.

Days Gone | PS4

Ride into a desperate, dog-eat-dog open world of the Pacific Northwest as drifter and bounty hunter, Deacon St. John. Risk the threats of the broken road on the back of your trusty bike as you face swarms of mindless feral Freakers – and equally terrifying humans. Unpredictable weather and different times of day and night can cause incredible danger and shocking surprises… and everything wants you dead. Devise your strategies as you customise weapons and skills, craft traps and upgrade your bike as you try and survive the unforgiving wilderness.

Zombie Army 4: Dead War | PS4

Hitler’s hordes are back for more in this spine-chilling shooter from the makers of Sniper Elite 4. Abominable occult enemies, epic weapons and a harrowing new campaign for 1-4 players*** await in 1940s Europe, as you fight to save humankind from undead Armageddon. Continue the alternate history of Zombie Army Trilogy in huge new levels, and uncover a sinister plan that takes the Survivor Brigade across Italy and beyond.

Original Story Follows:

The PS Plus April 2021 free games are set to be announced later today, 31st March!

We've had some great titles in March, including Final Fantasy 7: Remake and puzzle game Maquette, although the former isn't getting access to a free PS5 version (Boo!).

Still, Sony has been absolutely flying with PS Plus games since PS5 launched. We've had Destruction All-Stars and Bugsnax, both PS5 titles, and we already know that Oddworld: Soulstorm will be part of April's lineup.

With the Play At Home initiative now live, Sony is offering Ratchet and Clank for free from March 1 - so if you haven't already got it, be sure to snap it up before the month is over.

Here's everything we know so far about the PlayStation Plus April 2021 games, including all potential predictions, rumours and leaks.

When Will PS Plus April 2021 Games Be Announced?

Traditionally PS Plus games have always been announced on the last Wednesday of the month at 4.30 pm on the dot.

The announced titles then become available to download from the PSN store on the first Tuesday of the month.

Some months this means the games arrive a bit earlier. But some months, it means there's a slightly longer wait than normal, such as this month.

Due to the way the days have fallen in the month, Sony will announce the PS Plus April 2021 free games lineup on Wednesday, March 31.

When Will PS Plus April 2021 Come Out?

Again, the date new PS Plus games become available is like clockwork, with the new games available to download from the PSN store on the first Tuesday of the month.

Looking ahead, the PS Plus March 2021 free games will be available to download on the PlayStation store on Tuesday 6 April 2021.

PS Plus April 2021 Leaks

March 31 - According to a post on Mydealz, it looks like Days Gone and Zombie Army 4: Dead War along with Oddworld: Soulstorm will be a part of April's PS Plus titles. Find out more here.

March 28 - Over the weekend there's been plenty of talk about a possible leak which suggests that Civilization 6 may be a part of the April lineup.

This is based on fans spotting that the game is appearing on the Japanese store as a free game with the PS Plus symbol.

Although, it's possible this could be yet another PlayStation store mistake. The game is no longer appearing as free, and it's possible it could be linked to a free trial.

Even then, we've seen that sometimes games in Europe do not always match those given away in the Japanese PlayStation store.

So whilst there might be a lot of excitement over this particular 'leak' we wouldn't take it as gospel right now.
