As expected, Hood: Outlaws & Legends (PS5, PS4), Slay the Spire (PS4), and SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated (PS4) have been confirmed for April 2022. That follows a previous leak from the ever-reliable Dealabs yesterday.
However, Sony's official announcement had one surprise. Persona 5 will leave the PS Plus Collection on May 11, making it the first game to do so. It's unknown why this has left the service but we'll keep you updated if there's anything further.

It wouldn't be a PS Plus month without a big PS Plus leak. Posted on French website Dealabs, that confirms Hood: Outlaws & Legends (PS5, PS4), Slay the Spire (PS4), and SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated (PS4) are next.
Given they've previously reported most of last year's line-up accurately, we're inclined to believe it.
When Will PS Plus April 2022 Games Be Announced?
Traditionally PS Plus games have always been announced on the last Wednesday of the month at 4:30pm on the dot via PlayStation's many social channels, with full details shared on the PlayStation blog. That means we can expect the April 2022 PS Plus titles to be revealed on March 30, 2022.
PS Plus April 2022 Leaks
Although we have a pretty solid idea of when the PS Plus games will be officially confirmed, there's no guarantee that the next selection of free games will be leaked ahead of time as we've seen recently.
In the past six months we've typically seen the same leaker - Dealabs user billbil-kun - successfully leak the correct PS Plus lineup in September 2021, October 2021, November 2021, December 2021, January 2022, and now March 2022. However, the user didn't come forward to reveal the February 2022 titles.
We'll be sure to keep you up to date on any further info in the latest news section above, but at the time of writing, it's hard to know if the flurry of leaks have now ended.
When Will PS Plus April 2022 Games Come Out?
PS Plus games are made available to players like clockwork at the same time every month, with only one or two very rare changes to the schedule. Generally speaking, new games are made available to download from the PSN store on the first Tuesday of the month.
With this in mind, the March 2022 PS Plus line-up will likely become available to download on the PlayStation store on Tuesday, April 5, 2022. This is slightly later than we're used to seeing with the monthly PlayStation Plus releases, but that's just how the dates have fallen this time around.
PS Plus April 2022 Game Predictions
As we say every month, it's increasingly difficult to predict what games could be coming to the service. That's because the games which are given away rarely fit into any sort of theme.
The only proper 'clue' is that the monthly PS5 game is normally one PS4 title that has recently received a next-gen upgrade. Or, sometimes it's a game which has already been available on PC/Xbox previously and is finally making its way to PlayStation consoles. This is what happened with Deep Rock Galactic in January 2022.
If you really had to push us on some predictions, we think the PS5 upgrades for ELEX 2 and Tropico 6 could be two potential PlayStation Plus offerings. But don't take our word for it, these are just predictions after all.
