Pokemon Sapphire Glitch Uncovered By A Fish Playing The Game over 18 Years After Launch

Pokemon Sapphire may have launched all the way back in 2002, but a previously undetected glitch has been found by the most unlikely of sources.

Over 18 years after the game launched, the fish were tackling the Sea Cavern area, perhaps fittingly.

Clearly, Maurice and Lala need jobs in QA, because Mutekimaru was able to replicate the glitch through repeating his companion's actions. You can see the video below:

The duo has already claimed a couple of gym badges, and are well on their way to becoming Pokemon masters.

Sapphire launched alongside Ruby, and it stands to reason that the glitch is also in the game, too.

Both titles were remade in 2014 for the 3DS as Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, although whether the glitch made the jump to the new versions is anyone's guess.
