New Pokémon Legends: Arceus Trailer Reveals Alternate Scyther Evolution, Kleavor

Pokémon fans are in for an exciting few months as we're closing in on the release dates for both the Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl remakes and Legends: Arceus, the new open world adventure.

As if players weren't excited enough by the recent pre-order bonuses and variety of reveals over the past months, the Pokémon Company has dropped two brand new trailers, one for each incoming game.

Two New Pokémon Trailers Just Dropped

The Pokémon Legends: Arceus trailer details lots of customisation options for your trainer, as well as a look at the crafting system you use to make potions and other items.

However, the most exciting reveals are Wardens - special trainers who seem to guard powerful Pokémon - and Noble Pokémon such as Kleavor, a giant Bug and Rock-type Scyther evolution. As well as its giant axe hands and enormous size in comparison to the player, the so-called Lord of the Woods has a weird yellow shield that you need to deplete before you can catch it.

Check it out in all its glory in the Pokémon Legends: Arceus trailer:

The trailer also reveals the Arc Phone - a device connected to Arceus in some way - but to be honest we're still thinking about Kleavor.

Here's a look at the Pokémon once its shield has disappeared:

We expect this to be its regular form, and the Wardens stopping you from accessing it act as some kind of level barrier to this miniboss.

A Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl trailer detail also dropped, detailing new additions to the Diamond and Pearl remakes, including the Pokétch which can use HMs for you. This quality of life improvement is similar to Pokémon Sword and Shield, and means that you might not have to waste precious move slots on your Pokémon with the Hidden Moves you need to traverse the overworld.
