Shiny Pokemon may not be any more powerful than their regular counterparts, but that doesn’t make them any less sought after.
In every game, finding and catching as many of these rare ‘mons as you can is a sense of pride amongst fans.
This is especially true in Pokemon Go, where being able to show off your Shiny catches in PVP battles or Gyms.

How to Catch Shiny Nidoran
Whenever you try to catch a pokemon, there is a chance the one you encounter will be Shiny.
By playing the game frequently and catching as many Nidoran as you can find and eventually, you’ll find a shiny.

Though if you want to maximise your chance of snagging a shiny Nidoran you’ll need to jump into Pokemon Go during the Nidoran Limited-Time Research event!
The event will take place on November 28 according to the official website.
“On Saturday, November 28, 2020, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. local time, you can complete event-exclusive Field Research tasks to earn encounters with Nidoran♀ and Nidoran♂.”
And like with previous Limited Research events, trainers will have a boosted chance to encounter shiny variants of both male and female Nidoran.
During the event be sure to drop down some Lures at PokeStops, and to use Incense as much as you can!
