Honkai Star Rail Guinaifen materials pre-farming guide

Guinaifen is an upcoming character in Honkai Star Rail and she treads on the Path of Nihility, making her an exciting option for Kafka teams. Our Honkai Star Rail Guinaifen materials pre-farming guide will help you get her level up and trace materials and upgrade her as soon as she releases in patch 1.4.

Our guide is designed for players who want to put in all possible resources to get Guinaifen to level 80 and have maximum trace levels. But if you don't want to go all out with your resources, you will need fewer materials than what we have listed below.

Before we talk more about Guinaifen’s materials, you should check out our Luka build and Sampo build to get an idea of how to create a Nihility team. Both Luka and Sampo can pair well with Guinaifen in damage over time (DoT) teams, so you should consider using them alongside her.

Honkai Star Rail Guinaifen materials for levelling

Here are all of the ascension materials that you need to take Guinaifen to level 80.

• 240,000 Credits
• 12x Artifex’s Module
• 13x Artifex’s Cogwheel
• 12x Artifex’s Gyreheart
• 50x Searing Steel Blade

You will also need 580,100 Credits, 287 Traveler’s Guide, nine Adventure Logs, and 21 Travel Encounters for levelling her up. Since she is a 4-star character, her resource costs are a lot lower compared to her 5-star counterparts.

Honkai Star Rail Guinaifen materials for traces

Here are all of the resources you will need to level Guinaifen’s traces to the max level.

• 12x Obsidian of Dread
• 54x Obsidian of Desolation
• 105x Obsidian of Obsession
• 28x Artifex’s Module
• 42x Artifex’s Cogwheel
• 42x Artifex’s Gyreheart
• 12x Regret of Infinite Ochema
• 5x Tracks of Destiny

Levelling up the traces can cost you up to 2.4 million Credits if you unlock and level every single trace. If you get Eidolons for Guinaifen, you can get three free levels for some of her traces, which can bring down your levelling costs in case you do not want to commit all of your resources to her build.

Honkai Star Rail Guinaifen relics

You want to go for the Firesmith of Lava Forging set for Guinaifen as it gives her a massive amount of Fire damage bonus and Skill damage bonus.

• 2-piece bonus: Fire DMG +10%
• 4-piece bonus: Increases the wearer's Skill DMG by 12%. After unleashing Ultimate, increases the wearer's Fire DMG by 12% for next attack.

For her Planar Ornaments, you want to use Space Sealing Station:

• 2-piece bonus: Increases the wearer's ATK by 12%. When the wearer's SPD reaches 120 or higher, the wearer's ATK increases by another 12%.

You want to focus on ATK%, SPD, Effect Hit Rate and Break Effect. Guinaifen does not need Crit Rate or Crit Damage as almost all of her damage comes from Burn, which is not enhanced by Crit stats.

• Good Night and Sleep Well: For every debuff the target enemy has, the DMG dealt by the wearer increases by 12%, stacking up to three time(s). This effect also applies to DoT.
• Fermata: Increases Break Effect dealt by the wearer by 16%, and increases their DMG to enemies afflicted with Shock or Wind Shear by 16%. This also applies to DoT.
• Solitary Healing: Increases the wearer's Break Effect by 20%. When the wearer unleashes their Ultimate, increases DoT dealt by the wearer by 24% for two turns. When the target suffering from the wearer's DoT is defeated, regenerates four Energy.

Both Solitary Healing and Fermata can be obtained for free via Herta’s Shop and the Memory of Chaos store respectively. Good Night and Sleep Well is a stronger option but it can be obtained only via the gacha system.
