Warzone Expert Uncovers Broken Rifle Thanks to Single Attachment

A Warzone expert has uncovered another broken rifle that outperforms the majority of the arsenal thanks to a single attachment.

Call of Duty's battle royale often sees widespread changes to the meta thanks to regular weapon balancing from Raven Software. With Season 3 Reloaded on the horizon, Warzone players are always on the hunt for the next weapon that will lead the charge at the top of the ever-changing meta.

This time around, the weapon in question has never risen to the top of our weapon tier list. But, the application of an attachment completely changes its performance for the better.

Following some testing, Warzone YouTuber TheKoreanSavage claims the JAK Heretic Carbine Kit paired with the MTZ 762 battle rifle is the next best combination to use.

He says: "It [the JAK Heretic Carbine conversion kit] adds 53% to the effective damage range which is insane. It adds a huge 43% horizontal recoil control bonus and pretty much turns a battle rifle into an SMG."

However, TheKoreanSavage warns players that the JAK Heretic Carbine does have its flaws alongside its impressive buffs. He says: "The only downside is the bullet velocity but you don't really need that if you're using it as an SMG."

The MTZ 762 has never set the Warzone meta alight despite possessing impressive damage statistics. With players opting for assault rifles and LMGs, there's a chance TheKoreanSavage's discovery injects a breath of fresh air as players attempt to master the battle rifle for themselves.

Warzone's meta often changes and with the pairing of the MTZ 762 and the JAK Heretic Carbine conversion kit capable of excelling in close-quarters and mid-range combat, it's worth using if the current crop of weapons aren't to your liking.

Be sure to use it while the combination is capable of shredding through opponents. Raven Software is no stranger to applying buffs and nerfs out of the blue and if TheKoreanSavage's build dominates, the developer could nerf it into the ground. For now, it's a force to be reckoned with in Urzikstan and Rebirth Island.
