The Pokémon Company has announced a new Pokémon Presents for next week, just in time for the yearly Pokémon Day celebration fans partake in. While there’s hope amongst fans that we will see classic games added to NSO, rumours of new games getting announced in the presentation have us excited.

Announced on the company’s official website, no details were revealed aside from the show’s date, which is February 27 next week. Like previous Presents presentations, we’re promised “the latest news and updates,” which isn’t saying much, so we’ll have to wait and see.

Based on previous Pokémon Presents videos, fans can expect updates for mobile games, announcements for new mobile titles, and maybe even actual Switch projects. Rumours claim that we’re getting Let’s Go! Johto games, similar to the Let’s Go! Pikachu and Eevee games that came out years ago.

Fans are also crossing their fingers and hoping that we get a new Pokémon Legends game, as everyone fell in love with Legends: Arceus. Some rumours have said a Legends game set in Unova might be coming, which should get plenty of fans excited. The company also seemingly teased remakes of Black and White, but fans are less excited over that thanks to Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl being somewhat mundane remakes.

Despite all of these rumours, fans know that they should keep their expectations in check when it comes to a new Pokémon Presents presentation. Even with all of these rumours floating around, these videos are also home to less exciting announcements, like TCG tournaments, new mobile games, and new seasons of the anime. All fans can do is hope that we get one or two new Switch games, though fans shouldn’t bet their houses on that happening.

Next week’s Pokémon Presents takes place on February 27, at 6:00 a.m. PST. In the meantime, fans can check out Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, alongside their expansion pass, all of which are readily available on Switch.
