Monster Hunter Stories 2: How to Fly
To fly in Monster Hunter Stories 2 you will need to rescue Ratha from the Hunters in the Lamure Desert. This is a main story mission that occurs in the fourth main area of the game. You'll need to follow the sandship and fight your way to Ratha. After this, Ratha will gain the Fly Rider Action. This means you can use it while exploring open areas.

How to Fly
To fly, just press B while riding a Monstie that has the Flying Rider Action. The first one you'll get is Ratha, though there are other Monsters in the game that can fly. We won't spoil them here, but make sure to check a Monstie's Rider Actions before adding them to your party. To land, find a clear area and press B again.
