Gfinity announces new strategic partnership with AVerMedia

Video technology manufacturer AVerMedia has been revealed as the new Capture and Streaming Solutions Provider of Gfinity's Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and FIFA 17 competitions.

As part of its sponsorship, AVerMedia will be providing the winners of each competition an LGP2 (Live Gamer Portable 2) capture device, on top of the awarded prize money. There will also be devices available to Gfinity’s social media following, so fans should make sure they’re subscribed to Gfinity's Twitter and Facebook pages to be in with a chance of winning!

In announcing the news, AVerMedia Sales and Marketing Manager, Philippe Serreua, said:

“As a designer and manufacturer of capture and streaming products for gamers, we’re absolutely delighted to start a collaboration with Gfinity from this month. There’s no doubt that Gfinity has played a central role in the development of the eSports community in Europe in recent years. And the company is clearly committed, more than ever, to take it to the next level, one tournament and stream at a time.

“We’re really proud to join the Gfinity team endeavour and we look forward to bringing our own contribution to make the eSports scene rise even further.”

AVerMedia's FIFA 17 competitions are set to kick off on Sunday 20th November 2016, while their Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare competitions begin on Sunday 4th December 2016.

In addition to a new schedule, all AVerMedia cups will feature a substantially increased prize pool, as each Infinite Warfare and FIFA 17 cup awards £850 to its competitors.
