CTF Will Be Removed from Advanced Warfare Ranked Play

Capture the Flag will be leaving the Ranked Play rotation on Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare in the near future.

As many will know, Major League Gaming recently announced the removal of Capture the Flag from its competitive rotation, with Hardpoint, Search and Destroy and Uplink remaining as the three professionally played modes.

First noticed by Charlie Intel, Michael Condrey from Sledgehammer Games took to Twitter today to answer fan queries, confirming that Advanced Warfare would follow with MLG's rulings and remove Capture the Flag from its own ranked play rotation.

The MLG X Games tournament that took place last weekend was the last major event to contain the game mode, with Season 3 of MLG's Pro League and all future tournaments not including it.

As of yet, no time frame for the remove of this game mode has been confirmed, but we expect to hear more news in the near future.
