Call of Duty: Warzone: PS Plus Subscription Not Required To Play - But What About Other Platforms?

The new Call of Duty: Warzone trailer was released earlier today and with it came a slew of information.

A key piece of that info confirmed the new BR that drops March 10th will be free to play, with no need for a copy of Modern Warfare. As well as a nice little surprise for PlayStation owners.

Here's everything you need to know!

PlayStation Players

Players that will be scooping up those Ws on Sony's console will not only be able to digitally download the game for free like everybody else, they'll be able to do so without an active PlayStation Plus subscription.

Making 'free to play' even more meaningful.

Although this is the case, PlayStation has confirmed that players with a PS Plus subscription will receive a free 'combat pack' upon signing in.

What about PC and Xbox?

Unfortunately for PC and Xbox One players, an active subscription of either Xbox Live or an active Blizzard Battle.net account will be required to play Call of Duty: Warzone on the corresponding platform.

To add salt to the wound, there's also no mention of a free 'combat pack' for either PC or Xbox One players.
