In traditional Call of Duty fashion, Black Ops III is expected with absolute certainty to drop in early November. Thanks in no small part to a leaked promotional display found by Kotaku at GameStop, we now have a tentative date to excitedly jot down in our collective calendars - November 6th.

More interestingly, though, the promotion also details that Treyarch's latest title is set to have a beta, with a pre-order guaranteeing gamers a place to test out the title ahead of launch. Current generation titles (Playstation 4, Xbox One) and PC are listed for the beta, with no mention of either Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 present at all. It's worth paying attention to the super fine print, though: "Actual platform availability and launch date(s) to be determined".

Is this leaked promotional display accurate? We'll certainly hear more this weekend, with Call of Duty: Black Ops III getting its full unveiling on April 26th. Expect a truckload of new information then.
