2015 Call of Duty Championship Group Predictions: Group G

The Call of Duty World Championships are now just a day away. 32 of the very best teams from around the world, come together, as they compete for a share of the massive $1million prize pool.

As the clock ticks ever closer to the beginning of the biggest tournament in CoD eSports, the qualified 32 teams have been throwing hundreds of Uplink Drones and finessing nade spots, as they tirelessly practice their strategies, all for the chance to be crowned World Champion.

In the final instalment of the series, we will be taking a look at Groups F, G & H of the Call of Duty World Championship, as we attempt to predict which 6 teams will triumph out of pool play.

Group G

FaZe Black (US) | Censor, Apathy, Proofy & Studdy

TCM Gaming (EU) | Moose, ShAnE, Jurd & Gunshy

Ascentia (EU) | ZylewR, PleasR, Starziboy & Maals

DA.Below Zero (US) | Reppin, Assauhlt, Godlike & Wolf

Group G appears to be a close tie-up between European and American heavyweights, TCM Gaming and FaZe Black. Both teams contain some of the very best talent in Advanced Warfare, however,I believe that the “TCMpire” will narrowly come out on top, as the number one team from Group G. Having recently moved to the US, to compete in the MLG Pro League, Gunshy is playing some of the best CoD of his career and the self-proclaimed “King” Jurd seems to be back on track at “doing what he wants”.

The newly formed FaZe Black roster, consisting of half of the Strictly Business team which took down the mighty CompLexity at last year’s NA Regionals, will definitely give TCM a run for their money. All four players have experienced high placings at the World Championships, with Studyy finishing 2nd in last year’s tournament. Therefore, I can see them securing the second spot to take them through to the double-elimination bracket.

Both Ascentia and Below Zero have the potential and quality to win a couple of maps, but I don’t believe they possess the consistency to have a chance of winning a series and making it into the top 16.

TCM Gaming 3-2 FaZe Black

TCM Gaming 3-0 Ascentia

TCM Gaming 3-1 Below Zero

FaZe Black 3-0 Below Zero

FaZe Black 3-1 Ascentia

FaZe Black 2-3 TCM Gaming
