Is Spider-Man in Marvel's Midnight Suns?

The answer might not be as obvious as you'd think. The web-slinging wonder is one of Marvel's most recognizable heroes, yet neither the recent Midnight Suns gameplay reveal nor the debut trailer.

Instead, we see Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Wolverine - in fact, almost everyone except Spider-Man.

Given Peter Parker's popularity, Firaxis could just be holding back to tease him at a later date. There's certainly no shortage of possibilities for creating a unique skillset for him, thanks to Midnight Suns' card-based tactics system.

Of course, it might not be Peter Parker under the hood anyway, as Firaxis could choose Miles Morales instead.

Or the XCOM developer might opt to avoid adding Spidey in altogether. He's one of the principle characters in Marvel's Avengers after all - if you're a PlayStation user, that is - and there's always a possibility of overexposure dulling the sense of excitement.

Either way, we'll likely know more in the coming months. Marvel's Midnight Suns is due for release in March 2022, so there's plenty of time to reveal the roster or future DLC characters.
