Paper Mario: The Origami King is the sixth adventure in the series and some familiar mechanics are returning.

While some Nintendo Switch titles have opted to include auto-save features, like Animal Crossing New Horizons, others have chosen to stick with manual.

That's the case with Paper Mario's latest game - here's how to save.

How To Save The Game In Paper Mario: The Origami King

To save the game you will need to find a multi-coloured S block floating above the ground.

By standing underneath it and jumping up into it, it will prompt a save game dialogue box.
