But it's not for everyone, especially if the environment around you is preventing you from using them properly.

1. Press + to open the menu.
2. Press R to go to the gear icon on the tab menu
3. Scroll down to the Motion Controls option
4. Turn it to 'off'

This can be done as soon as you take control of Mario in the game.
