Day 2 of the League of Legends World Championship 2021 saw eight action-packed matches courtesy of the teams who qualified in the play-in stage of the tournament.
Now with only one day remaining for round 1 of the play-in tournament, some teams are inching closer to qualify for the Group stages. While some are now on the verge of being eliminated from the competition.

Play-In Round 1 Day 2
Group A
The results of the four matches from Group A on day 2 of the Play-Ins are:
- Hanwha Life Esports defeated PEACE
- LNG Esports defeated RED Canids
- PEACE defeated Infinity
- Hanwha Life Esports defeated RED Canids
LNG Esports still stops Group A with a clean 3-0 record followed by Hanwha Like Esports with 3 wins and 1 loss. Here are the current standings of each team from Group A of the Play-In round:

- Cloud9 defeated Galatasaray Esports
With Galatasaray Esports losing both of their matches on day 2, Cloud9 took over the top spot of Group B, having a flawless 3-0 record so far. Unicorns of Love is still on the bottom of the list with a 0-3 slate.

Play-In Day 3 Fixtures
With LNG Esports and Cloud9 both having a perfect 3-0 record so far, it is likely that these two teams will qualify directly for the Group Stages right from round 1 of the Play-In stage. Though for Infinity and Unicorns of Love, they must be able to conquer all their matches on day 3 to at least secure their spots in round 2 of the Play-ins.
