The Last of Us 2: Where Is Dina? SPOILERS AHEAD

The Last of Us 2 is finally here, and if you picked it up at launch you're likely sneaking your way through Seattle.

The Last of Us Part 2: Where is Dina?

Dina, Ellie's witty and loveable partner, settles down with our heroine on a farm just outside of Jackson with Jesse's baby, JJ.

This bliss is short-lived, however, as Tommy comes to Ellie and begs her to continue the search for Abby.

In one of the game's most heartbreaking scenes, Ellie attempts to sneak away while Dina does her best to convince her to stay and break the cycle of revenge.

Once Ellie has found Abby, and let her live, she returns home to find that Dina is gone. Fans have likely been wondering where she is, but we have an idea.

For one, documents at the farm suggest that Jesse's parents have long asked for Dina and JJ to move in with them in Jackson, so they can be closer to their grandson. We'd wager that's where Dina has gone.

As for how she feels about Ellie, considering the latter's disappearing act, we have an idea about that too. In a flashback at the end of the game, Ellie suggests that she'll forgive Joel for the decision he made at the end of the first game. Considering the placement of that flashback, it could be that Ellie considers that if she can forgive Joel for essentially dooming humanity, that Dina can eventually forgive her. 

Who knows, but as more people reach the end of the game, we'd expect to find more interpretations of the ending.
