Wildermyth's been a big hit on the indie scene. Offering a procedurally-generated RPG with a character-driven focus, it launched on PC earlier this year and now, they've confirmed the game's being ported to Nintendo Switch. However, you'll be waiting a while for that to release.
Revealed by Worldwalker Games' founder Nate Austin, news broke via Fanbyte, where Austin's taking part in their next Thanks for the Knowledge podcast. That won't be released until December 19th, but the outlet broke this particular news in advance.

As for the lengthy wait, Austin's claimed this will need "at least a year" to get running. The reason? Wildermyth's engine was coded in Java, which the Switch doesn't presently support. Accordingly, it'll take time to get this running properly on Nintendo's hybrid console
