It took a long time, perhaps too long, but the Dead by Daylight x Stranger Things collaboration has finally returned to the multiplayer survival horror game.

The collaboration was first released in September 2021 as Chapter 13 of downloadable content in Dead by Daylight. It was part of the game for two months, before being abruptly pulled from the game in November, becoming the first piece of content to be removed from DBD.

Shockingly, two years after the fact, Stranger Things is back in Dead by Daylight. So if you missed it the first time around, here's everything you need to know about the highly popular crossover.

Dead by Daylight x Stranger Things - Release date

The Stranger Things collaboration returned to Dead by Daylight on 6 November 2023, bringing every piece of content previously seen in the game when it was originally released in 2021. The developers mentioned in a FAQ that there is no information regarding potential new content.

So now that it's back, what does the Stranger Things x Dead by Daylight crossover include? As it turns out, it was the first DLC Chapter with more than one survivor. This is what you'll get from the Stranger Things pack:

  • Demogorgon (Killer)
  • Nancy Wheeler (Survivor)
  • Steve Harrington (Survivor)

On top of that, there are two pieces of cosmetics available, one for each of the survivors:

  • Torn Sweatshirt - Common Nancy Wheeler Torso
  • Scuffed Rolled Sleeves - Common Steve Harrington Torso

As for the price, it'll cost the same as it was when it first released in 2021, coming at $10 or the equivalent depending on your region. This should put an end to scalpers who were selling codes for this DLC for upwards of $300. Yes, that is real.

On top of that, the Hawkins Underground Complex is also making a return to Dead by Daylight, upping the number of Realms (maps) available in the game.
