Horizon Forbidden West is looking like a sequel that will improve on everything we’ve seen in Horizon Zero Dawn, with improved visuals, better combat, and a slightly bigger map, amongst other improvements.
While there were a small section of snobby gamers who got sad over the decision to bring Horizon Forbidden West on PS4 alongside PS5, most of us are pretty happy to continue Aloy’s single-player exploits, though some wonder if multiplayer is in this sequel’s future.

Will Horizon Forbidden West Have Multiplayer?
Despite some concept art teasing multiplayer for Horizon Forbidden West, Sony and Guerrilla Games have yet to confirm if this sequel will be getting it.
There’s definitely an audience that wants to see some form of multiplayer in Horizon Forbidden West since it can be similar to the incredibly successful Monster Hunter but nothing has been stated so fans will have to keep dreaming.
Admittedly, we’d rather have a solid single-player game that does everything right than a title with forced multiplayer options like Dead Space 3, so here’s hoping that Horizon Forbidden West doesn’t make the same mistakes.
Currently, we’re waiting for more information on Horizon Forbidden West, including its final release date and if there will be DLC, among other interests.
If there’s any form of multiplayer that will be in Horizon Forbidden West, it hasn’t been announced yet and we’re going to have to wait for it, assuming that it exists.
Horizon Forbidden West will be coming to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, while its predecessor, Horizon Zero Dawn, is now available on the PS4 and PC.
