Halo: The Master Chief Collection Season 5: Release Date, New Armor, Weapon Skins, Challenges, and More

Halo Infinite may not be arriving until later in 2021, but that has not stopped players from checking out The Master Chief Collection.

Taking a trip down memory lane and visiting some of your favorite games is one of the best feelings in the world.

Now, a brand new season of The Master Chief Collection is arriving soon, and this one appears to be the best yet.

From new weapon skins, challenges, and armor suits; there is a lot to unpack.

Here is everything you need to know! 

Release Date

Per a new tweet by Halo, Season 5 of The Master Chief Collection is going to hit players on January 27th, 2021!

So right after the weekend, players should be able to check out all the new content within. 

Armor

Within the tweet posted by Halo, they have noted that there will be 80 pieces of armor to unlock across Halo 3 and Reach.

Halopedia.org has posted images of all of the armor sets coming with the release of Season 5.

Weapon Skins

Along with new armor, they have noted there will be some new weapon skins; but no further details as of yet. 

Challenges

Last but not least, players will be able to rack in XP when the season releases.
