Hyrule has gotten a major makeover thanks to the floating islands and ever-expanding caverns after the revival of Ganondorf. And the same goes for Hyrule Castle. Sort of. It's floating now, which has made it harder to infiltrate than ever before. Find out how to get into Hyrule Castle in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

Hyrule Castle is now covered in gloomy malice and has been ripped from its roots. Consequently, it’s now floating in the skies above. But nowhere near as high up as the Zonai ruins. You can't just walk into it like last time However, there are still a couple of ways you can make your way into Hyrule Castle for some great gear early on.

Hyrule Castle location

As stated earlier, Hyrule Castle is now a floating castle in the air. Luckily, its location is still the same in the middle of the Hyrule just north of Lookout Landing. It’s really hard to miss such a large object in the sky. So, let’s get to the different methods you can employ to infiltrate the castle.

Getting into Hyrule Castle

The first and most obvious method we can suggest is gliding into Hyrule Castle. Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom features floating Sky Islands, many located much higher than Hyrule Castle.

Get higher

In fact, Hyrule Castle isn’t really raised to that high an altitude, and Sky Islands around it are plentiful. Simply make your way up to one of these Sky Islands and dive down with your Paraglider into Hyrule Castle.

You can also use the tower at the Lookout Landing South of the castle. Just step onto the platform inside to shoot out of the top. From there, you'll easily be able to glide over climb to the lower sections of the castle. You can also aim for the waterfalls with your Zora Armor or for some of the underground tunnels closer to the bottom of the floating island.

Rockets

Another cool method players have found is the use of Zonai Rockets near the base of Hyrule Castle to gain some serious height. Bring some extra batteries or Zonai Charges for this one.

Zonai vehicles

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom doesn’t limit you to any one method to get into Hyrule Castle. Materials across Hyrule are plentiful, and with Link’s Ultrahand ability, you can craft any vehicle you can imagine with those parts.

Build a balloon, a glider, or an airplane to make your way up to the castle. Use your imagination and some trial and error to infiltrate the castle with your own unique aircraft.
