With WWE 2K24, there are a multitude of matches where you can use weapons. However, some face-offs won’t permit that and get you disqualified. Furthermore, the game’s mechanics have significantly improved from its previous versions, making the whole act of beating up an opponent with weapons more realistic and fun.
The gaming franchise has also added new game modes such as Ambulance and Casket matches that are built for such types of weapons. Though, that’s not the only exciting thing going on for all the WWE fans.
WWE 2K24 has announced a variety of weapons that will make a comeback, and has also announced an addition of newer weapons to use! Hence, here’s a guide on all the weapons you can find throughout your 2K24 journey, and how you can use them.
WWE 2K24 weapon list
As stated above, the game has brought back older weapons. Here’s a list of all items you can use:
- Ladder
- Stop Sign
- Table
- Hockey Stick
- Sledgehammer
- Baseball Bat
- Chair
- Kendo Stick
- Shovel
With that, the game has also added newer weapons to use:
- Guitar
- Trash Can
- Microphone
How to change WWE 2K24 weapon wheel
While looking underneath the ring for weapons, you’ll see a circular pop-up that displays six weapons to choose from. This is known as a Weapon Wheel.
Once you see it, simply move your analogue toward the weapon you want to use and it will come out. A noteworthy point here is that not every weapon can be used in every match.
The weapon wheel that pops up only allows a total of six weapons to choose from. Nonetheless, if you’re tired of using the same weapons countless times, you can mix it up in the pre-match settings.
Here’s how:
- Open up the match settings by simply selecting Triangle on your Playstation or Y on Xbox.
- Once done, you’ll see a drop-down list of options to change. Select Custom Match Rules from the list.
- Check the first few options by clicking Accept, right before you come across the Edit Weapons menu.
- From there, simply add the weapons you want the Weapon Wheel to show during the match.
This setting can only be changed before a match commences.
How to use and throw weapons in WWE 2K24
Now that you’ve adjusted the Weapon Wheel and have the weapon of your choice, it’s time to deal extra damage to your opponent.
There are two types of attacks you can perform with a weapon:
- Primary Attack
- Secondary Attack
To perform a Primary Attack, follow the steps given below:
- Click Square for PlayStation and X for Xbox.
To perform a Secondary Attack, follow the steps given below:
- Click X for PlayStation and A for Xbox.
Additionally, you can also throw your weapons at an enemy player.
Here’s how:
- Select Circle on your PlayStation and aim with the analogue. For Xbox, select B and aim with your analogue.
This will also work if your enemy player’s lying down on the floor, though, naturally, not as effective if the angle isn’t right.
