When is the next Fortnite update?
Even though the developers have not made an announcement yet, we already know when the next update will be. According to data miner HYPEX, the next Fortnite update, v28.30, will launch on February 20, 2024. In addition, the dates of subsequent updates are also known:
- Update v29.00, also known as Chapter 5 Season 2 will launch on March 8, 2024
What to expect from the next Fortnite update
According to data miners, update v28.30 will bring new Valentine's Day content to Fortnite. This includes both cosmetic items and new quests. And we hope that this will affect not only Battle Royale but also other modes in the Fortnite ecosystem, including Lego. In addition, it is expected that the developers will return more vaulted weapons to the game, which will certainly add some variety to the matches.
It’s also worth noting that there have been rumours about various experiments with Reality Augments in Fortnite for some time. However, there is no confirmation yet that new features will be added to the game with update v28.30.
