The Warzone and Modern Warfare 3 Season 1 Reloaded buffs and nerfs have sparked significant shifts in the multiplayer and battle royale meta.

With Season 1 Reloaded for Warzone and Modern Warfare 3 in full swing, players are already loading into the action to see how their favourite weapons perform following a widespread dose of weapon balancing affecting the majority of the arsenal. Everything from assault rifles to launchers has been adjusted.

Modern Warfare 3 Season 1 Reloaded buffs and nerfs

The MCW assault rifle has received a significant nerf which is bound to impact the casual and competitive meta. In addition, a number of popular SMGs have also received adjustments. Here's the full breakdown:

Assault rifles

SVA 545

  • Increased maximum damage from 29 to 30 (+3%).

Holger 556

  • Increased sprint to fire time from 231ms to 252ms (+9%).

DG-56

  • Decreased maximum damage range from 35.6m to 20.3m (-43%)
  • Decreased medium damage range from 44.5m to 30.5 (-31%).

FR 5.56

  • Increased medium damage from 36 to 40 (+11%).

MCW

  • Increased sprint to fire time from 220ms to 241ms (+10%).
    • 16.5" MCW Cyclone Long Barrel
    • Decreased damage range benefit by 6%.
    • Decreased bullet velocity benefit by 7%.
    • Increased sprint to fire time penalty by 1%.
    • Decreased hipfire spread penalty by 5%.

Warzone Season 1 Reloaded buffs and nerfs

Just like Modern Warfare 3, Raven Software has applied its own set of weapon balancing to maintain some kind of level playing field within the battle royale. Here are all the changes:
