The First Descendant release date

Though the action RPG has had beta sessions before, The First Descendant is scheduled for an official release in the summer of 2024. We don’t have an exact release date just yet, but that will change in the weeks to come.

You will be able to experience The First Descendant on PC and consoles. Here’s a list of where you will be able to play the sci-fi looter shooter:

The First Descendant has had a beta for crossplay, so we could expect the action game to support this feature on launch.

The First Descendant gameplay

From what we’ve seen of the game so far, The First Descendant has no shortage of the fast-paced action third-person shooters are suited for. You will get to choose a character from a roster of individuals that each have their own area of expertise.

For example, some characters will specialise in debuffing enemies while others help with the team’s survivability by providing shields. Like with all other team-based games, finding out how all the characters interact with one another will play a big part in how effective your group will be.
