Rage has two bonuses for players. The first, and perhaps most important, is that all of your character's moves will deal extra damage, allowing you to pull insane clutch comebacks.

Secondly, you'll get access to Rage Arts. Think of these as supers in games like Street Fighter 6. In Tekken 8, just like previous ones, there is no super meter; you'll only gain access to Rage Arts just as your health is about to drop to zero.

The command to pull off a Rage Art is universal, it just depends on what type of button configuration you end up using:

  • Hold down + forward and press 1+2 simultaneously if you're using a fightstick of some kind (regular, leverless, etc.)
  • If you're on a controller, simply press R2

It's worth noting that even if you're on a stick, you can add a macro that acts as your Rage Art button, so there's some flexibility in that regard. Similarly, if you're a pad user you can still use the regular method of inputting the Rage Art motion.
