Do you want to know if you'll have to sink hundreds of hours into Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League? In this guide, you'll find out if the game is a live-service title or not.

With the pedigree of Rocksteady behind the game, many people are wondering if Kill the Justice League will be a good single-player title or if it'll only be worth it with a full squad, hopefully not of the suicide kind.

Of course, we know the game has a heavy emphasis on multiplayer elements - but is Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League going full live-service? Time to find out.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League - will it be a live-service game?

The short answer is yes, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be a live-service title. In fact, according to some leaks, you might want to wait until season 3 rolls around come October to give this game a shot in case you're on the fence following the lukewarm preview reactions.

Rocksteady has caved and will make the game playable offline at some point, but that doesn't take away from the fact that Kill the Justice League is built to become yet another games-as-a-service that could be doomed for failure.

Things don't bode particularly well for Kill the Justice League. As mentioned, the impressions from journalists who got access to an early build of the game have been mostly negative, criticising the clunky combat, the derivate gameplay, and one of the ugliest UIs we've seen from any modern AAA titles in years.

It'll remain to be seen how Rocksteady will decide to monetise the game post-launch, but the possibility of seeing battle passes become their main source of revenue in the coming months is looking extremely likely.
